The story behind the speaker
Experience across entrepreneurship, technology, leadership, faith, and rebuilding
Rob’s working life began early. Long before he had a title or a business card, he learned that effort, resourcefulness, and responsibility could create options. In his late teens and early twenties, that instinct grew into ecommerce and technology entrepreneurship—work that required him to understand not only sales and customers, but also the servers, websites, systems, and teams behind the business.
That practical education became a career spanning web infrastructure, Linux systems administration, application operations, managed hosting, technical leadership, product development, and business strategy. Rob has supported large portfolios of global websites, led operations serving more than one hundred Better Business Bureaus across the United States and Canada, built teams and processes, and translated complicated technical risks into clear business decisions.
In 2021, he founded SOLUENCY (opens in a new tab), a technology company focused on managed web infrastructure, custom development, DevOps support, NFC technology, and practical AI automation. His current work includes VITAL, an AI communication platform designed to help businesses respond more consistently across phone, email, chat, and social channels.
A message refined in difficult seasons
Rob does not present a flawless founder story. Personal and professional challenges forced him to examine decisions, oversight, relationships, ambition, faith, and what true accountability requires. Those lessons changed the way he thinks about leadership: efficiency is not the same as health, delegation never removes responsibility, culture is built through repeated choices, and hope matters most when it is paired with truth.
That perspective is central to his speaking and mentoring. He can talk to a teenager about peer pressure and consequences, an entrepreneur about integrity and systems, a leadership team about trust and culture, or a faith community about stewardship and second chances—because the underlying questions are often the same: What is influencing us? What are we choosing? Who is affected? What responsibility belongs to us? What can be repaired?
Faith, family, and community
Christian faith is central to Rob’s understanding of stewardship, identity, service, and restoration. He helps lead Bayside Business Builders (opens in a new tab), a church-based community for business owners and professionals, and founded Kingdom Business Builders (opens in a new tab), a separate faith-driven nonprofit and community initiative.
Rob is also a husband and father of two young daughters. Family has made the idea of legacy concrete: the systems, habits, values, and stories we pass forward matter. That multigenerational perspective also shapes Restore Creation (opens in a new tab), a developing vision for regenerative land stewardship, hospitality, faith, family, and long-term restoration.
Connected work
Different projects. A consistent concern for stewardship.
Mission & vision
Tell the truth. Take responsibility. Build what serves. Restore what can be restored.
Rob’s aim is not to become the loudest voice in the room. It is to help create the kind of conversation that people continue after the event—at home, in a classroom, around a leadership table, or in the next difficult decision.
The story is context. The audience is the focus.
